Flowers in the Dirt Tour was a concert tour by Paul McCartney to promote his album "Flowers in the Dirt". The tour was produced by Bill Graham Presents and began on September 26, 1989, in Oslo, Norway, and ended on July 29, 1990, in Los Angeles, California. It covered over 70 dates around the world, including Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. The tour featured McCartney backed by a new band, including Hamish Stuart, Paul "Wix" Wickens, Robbie McIntosh, Chris Whitten, and Linda McCartney. Innovative stage design, visual effects, and a mix of solo, Beatles, and Wings hits made the tour a huge success, and it was McCartney's first extensive tour in over a decade. The tour has been documented in the 1990 VHS titled "Put It There" and the 2017 album and DVD release "Flowers in the Dirt - Ultimate Archive Collection."
